We extend our sincere gratitude to Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi, for financial assistance to establish National Repository of Fish Cell Line (NRFC) at ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow, in the form of a project entitled ‘Establishment of a National Repository at NBFGR, Lucknow for conservation and characterization of fish cell lines ’ during November, 2010 to November, 2014. The DBT again funded NRFC for IInd Phase in the form of a project entitled ‘National Repository of Fish Cell Lines in NBFGR (Phase II) and Access Centre in C. Abdul Hakeem College and research on application of cell lines in virology, toxicology and gene expression studies in 2017 for next three years.
