Chromosome staining/banding/FISH C-bands were present on the telomeric and pericentromeric regions in the majority of the chromosomes except one acrocentric chromosome in female which was totally heterochromatic; NORs were present on one chromosome pair that was confirmed by hybridisation of 18S rDNA probe.
