Chromosome staining/banding/FISH |
C-banding revealed few heterochromatic tags only in the centromeric and telomeric regions of some chromosomes. Ag-NORs were detected in up to five chromosomes with intraindividual variation. Double staining with CMA3/DAPI revealed five sites rich in GC coinciding with the Ag-NORs and confirmed by FISH with the 18S rDNA probe. |
