C-banding showed the presence of constitutive heterochromatin (CH) was observed in the centromeric regions of all chromosomes, a NOR was found on the distal short arm of pair 3 that was confirmed by DAPI and chromomycin A3 staining and FISH with 18S rDNA probes. |
