Chromosome staining/banding/FISH Large DAPI- and PI-positive bands observed at pericentromeric regions of chromosome 9 and 4, respectively. Large C-positive heterochromatin bands coincide with PI-positive bands. 18S–28S rRNA genes detected at pericentromeric region of chromosome 4. TTAGGG repeats signals observed at telomeric ends of all chromosomes, but no interstitial signal.
