Chromosome staining/banding/FISH Prominent C-positive block observed on chromosome pair 1, including both centromeric/ pericentromeric heterochromatin and the secondary constrictions. Remaining chromosomes showed C-positive site in centromeric/ pericentromeric regions. Ag-NORs located on secondary constriction of chromosome pair 1. 45S rDNA probe produced bright signals on same Ag-NOR positive sites. 5S rDNA probe produced signals on chromosome pair 1 at subcentromeric location, closer to centromeres and smaller in size.
