Chromosome staining/banding/FISH Centromeric heterochromatic blocks observed in all chromosome pairs. Ag-NOR clusters located interstitially in chromosome pair 24. 18S rDNA signals coincide with Ag-NOR signals. Conspicuous 5S rDNA sites present in terminal position of long arm of one chromosome pair and a faint site in a second chromosome.
