Chromosome staining/banding/FISH Centromeric heterochromatic blocks observed in all chromosome pairs, but a conspicuous block coincide with NOR sites on secondary constriction of chromosome pair 24. Ag-NOR clusters located interstitially in chromosome pair 24. 18S rDNA signals coincide with Ag-NOR signals. 5S rDNA signals present on two chromosome pairs.
