Multiple AgNORs identified, involving one acrocentric chromosomal pair (17th) bearing terminal NORs on short arms, observed in all metaphases, plus 2-4 non-homologous NOR-bearing chromosomes. Showed a large amount of heterochromatin, with conspicuous blocks located terminally on the long arms of acrocentric chromosomes from the pairs 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22. |
