Chromosome staining/banding/FISH |
Ag-NORs were present on the short arms of a single sm chromosome pair. Constitutive heterochromatin was detected on most chromosomes in the centromeric region, CMA3 positive signals and 18S rRNA genes were located on the short arms of sm chromosomes equivalent to the Ag-NORs, 5S rDNA genes wer located on the long arms of a sm chromosome pair. |

Chromosome staining/banding/FISH |
Single Ag-NOR present in terminal region of short arm of acrocentric chromosomes pair 22, and confirmed by 18S rDNA-FISH. C-banding showed heterochromatin in pericentromeric region of almost all chromosomes, in addition to revealing conspicuous blocks in terminal region of chromosome pairs corresponding to NORs. |
