18S rDNA-FISH confirmed the location of AgNORs and showed an extra cistron for the pattern I, five extra cistrons for pattern II and two extra cistrons for pattern III, totalling 6, 10 and 6 sites. 5S rDNA revealed a pattern of dispersion of this gene in the karyotype. |
