Chromosome staining/banding/FISH Ag-NORs sites were located on the terminal portion of the short arm of chromosome pair 1 and the 18S rDNA sites coincided with Ag-NOR marking. The 5S rDNA sites were situated on chromosome pair 9 (morphotype I) and on chromosome pair 9 & 15 (morphotype II).
