Chromosome staining/banding/FISH C-bands observed in centromeric and terminal regions of most chromosomes. Conspicuous C-blocks observed in proximal and distal regions in pairs 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 14, 18, 19 and 20. Ag-NOR located in terminal region of the long arms of chromosome pair 19 with a distal block of heterochromatin adjacent to the NOR, which was confirmed by FISH with 18S rDNA probe. 5S rDNA probe located on interstitial regions of long arms of pair 8. Telomeric probe showed no interstitial sites.
