Source of chromosomes Kidney.
Number of specimens with sex 9 juvenile.
Diploid chromosome number 46
Karyotype formula 2m+6sm+38t/a
Fundamental arm number 54
Chromosome length -
Sex chromosome -
Chromosome staining/banding/FISH Paracentromeric heterochromatins detected with C-banding in most pairs, with a wide range of intensities. Silver staining showed NOR regions similar in size, in the terminal position of the short arms of chromosome pair 2 and in the telomeric regions of pair 3. The frequency of NOR positive chromosomes varied among cells from two to four, i.e. two active sites in pair 2 and one in pair 3.
