Chromosome staining/banding/FISH |
Maximum 2 heteromorphic active Ag-NORs detected. CMA3 staining showed presence of upto 8 sites. C-banding showed, in addition to centromeres, that both GC-rich NORs and the AT-rich terminal chromosome regions were C-positive. FISH signals with 45S rDNA probe observed in different chromosome pairs (8 in Bracciano population, 10 in Martignano population and up to 12 in Bolsena population. 5S rDNA hybridized to 3 pairs of homologues chromosomes. Telomeric probe hybridized to telomeres regions. |
