Chromosome staining/banding/FISH Ag-NORs located on short arms of metacentric chromosome 1. Ag-positive site was situated interstitially in one homologue and telomerically in the second one. The CMA3 staining revealed only positive signals of the complement in the NOR-bearing chromosome arm but not corresponding to Ag-signals. Telomeric sequences were localized at the ends of all chromosomes. The 5S rDNA gene was mapped on short arms of 4 pairs of subtelocentric chromosomes.
