Chromosome staining/banding/FISH |
The silver nitrate staining revealed single NORs on ST/A chromosomes. C-banding revealed little amounts of constitutive heterochromatin, located at pericentromeric region of some chromosomes. Four minute sites of 18S rDNA were located by FISH at short arms of middle-sized acrocentric pairs. Six 5SrDNA sites were observed at the terminal region on short arms of a middle sized acrocentric pair and on two small acrocentric pairs. |
