| Chromosome staining/banding/FISH | Heterochromatin located at pericentromeric region of chromosomes 12, 23 and 25, at distal region of pair 23 and in faint blocks of other chromosomes. A heterochromatin heteromorphism was observed on long arms of just one homologue of the pair 24, restricted to females, suggesting the presence of a ZZ/ZW sex chromosome system. AgNOR located at interstitial region on long arms of the st pair 23. The 18S and 5S rDNAs were located in syntenic and adjacent. rDNA present in st pair 23, with interstitial 18S rDNA and distal 5SrDNA on long arms. |
