Chromosome staining/banding/FISH | Constitutive heterochromatin detected in pericentromeric region in majority of the chromosomes. The heterochromatin occupied entire short arms of all chromosomes, with the exception of 1st and 6th pairs. Also, in the 1st pair the constitutive heterochromatin was bitelomeric and in the 6th additional marks was found in long arms. |
