Considerable variation in AgNOR number ranged from 1 to 4. Signals localized on long arms of largest metacentric pair 1 and on short arms of subtelocentric pair 21. AgNOR site coincide with CMA3 staining. C-positive centromeric heterochromatin found on almost all chromosomes.
