Heteromorphic sex chromosomes not detected.
Chromosome staining/banding/FISH
Constitutive heterochromatin detected in centromeric and pericentromeric regions of most chromosomes and on entire lengths of both B chromosomes. Interstitial or telomeric C bands not demonstrated. Active NOR located in short arm of chromosome 16. The 5S rDNA signal found on one of chromosomes 1 and on both chromosomes nos. 24, while 18S+28S rDNA probe signals located on short arms of chromosome 16.
