Chromosome staining/banding/FISH | C-positive heterochromatin located in centromeric and telomeric regions of several chromosomes with an exclusive set of conspicuous interstitial C-bands. Chromosome pair 1 bears interstitial 5S rDNA sequences on long arms with an additional site on short arms of pair 13. Twelve telomeric 18S rDNA sites also observed.
