Chromosome staining/banding/FISH
The heterochromatin was located throughout pericentromeric regions of several chromosomal pairs. Cytotype A presented three Ag-NOR bearing sites, while six signals were identified by 18S-FISH on acrocentric chromosomes terminally. Cytotype B presented three Ag-NOR bearing sites, while four signals were observed by 18S-FISH on acrocentric chromosomes. Cytotype C presented two Ag-NORs sites, while four ribosomal DNA regions were identified on acrocentric chromosomes by 18S-FISH.
