Positive C-bands observed in centromere of all chromosomes, along with interstitial heterochromatic blocks in pairs 3 and 9. Silver nitrate positive nucleolar signals observed in centromeric region of chromosome pair 14. 18S rDNA and 5S rDNA probes hybridized in the centromeres of pair 14.
