NORs located on short arms of 21st acrocentric chromosomal pair, observed in all metaphases, plus 1-2 NOR-bearing chromosomes. Heterochromatin was associated to NORs in the acrocentric chromosomes from the pair 21 and in the short arms of one chromosome from the 2nd pair. |
